Southwest CTA is proud to honor Justin Lin as our 2021 STAR GRAD. Not only is Justin an exemplary student, boasting 5.109 weighted GPA, he is a compassionate leader among his peers. During his time at SWCTA, Justin participated in HOSA, NHS, Key Club and Skills USA. Outside of school, he participates in the Clark County Leaders of the Future Program, where he works with the Clark County Department of Parks and Recreation to lead a summer camp for eight-year-olds. I worked with Raymond as he tirelessly worked on U.S. Government and U.S. History this year. His great attitude helped him achieve his final goal in education: to earn his high school diploma! Raymond showed up daily and stayed online for hours, without complaint, to finish the work required to complete his high school career. While on campus, Raymond was an enormous help to our librarian, Mr. Chaput. He became his “right-hand man” so to speak. Brenlei Campbell is the Star Graduate at Boulder City High School. Brenlei has many exceptional qualities that have helped her overcome obstacles throughout high school. Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts is proud to have Nakala Nadeau as our 2021 Star Graduate! Nakala excels in her academics, twice receiving the Presidential Award for merit and perfect attendance, and she is ranked in the top 3% of her class. Nakala accomplished this while taking three city buses to school daily. Will Zadrowski is a senior at Cimarron-Memorial High School. Will is a 3-year letterman, starter, and senior co-captain for Cimarron’s varsity baseball team. He is also a 3-year member of Cimarron’s National Honor Society Chapter, through which he has accumulated over 100 hours of community service. Will has earned over $250,000 in scholarship offers to multiple universities, including Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Colorado-Boulder, the University of Arizona, and the University of Pittsburgh. Linda Weathers is VTCTA’s 2021 Star Graduate! Linda is strong, tenacious, determined, and hard working. She refuses to give up regardless of what obstacles come her way.
