CCSD is celebrating Peace Week Jan. 16 – 20, 2023. Students will take part in activities that contribute to the creation of a more peaceful world. CCSD’s Peace Week theme is “Be Inclusive.” Peace Week focuses on helping educators, students, and the community to promote a culture of peace in Nevada and around the world. Individuals work on understanding and managing conflict in their own lives. All CCSD schools are encouraged to post pictures on social media and share what they are doing as part of Peace Week, using hashtag #CCSDPeaceWeek.

The Clark County School District (CCSD) is now accepting applications for students interested in attending one of the District’s many choice offerings including the award-winning Magnet schools, new Central Technical Training Academy, and Change of School Assignment (COSA) options for the 2023-24 school year. The application window will remain open until January 10, 2023. Magnet Schools CCSD magnet programs offer learning opportunities related to various themes. The Board selected Trustee Evelyn Garcia Morales to serve as president, Trustee Lola Brooks to serve as vice president, and Trustee Irene Bustamante Adams to serve as clerk. The Clark County School District offers juniors and seniors looking for a challenge the opportunity to earn up to 48 college credits before graduation through CSN High School. CSN High School is a dual credit program designed to provide a smooth transition from high school to college. CSN High School provides a combination of high school and college credits through an agreement between CCSD and the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). There is a CSN High School location on all three CSN main campuses- Henderson, North Las Vegas, and West Charleston. CCSD pays for up to 12 credits every semester. …
