The Clark County School District (CCSD) final graduation rate for the Class of 2022 increased to 81.3 percent from 80.9 percent the previous year, according to final data compiled by the Nevada Department of Education. “These results are a testament to the hard work of our teachers, support professionals and administrators throughout the pandemic to ensure our students received a high-quality education,” said CCSD Superintendent Dr. Jesus F. Parental involvement and school safety are a couple of the many topics at the center of the 2022 Clark County School District (CCSD) districtwide Parent/Guardian survey. The survey is available through Friday, December 16, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. The survey is available online at ccsd.net/survey, both in English and Spanish. Agenda Item 3.02 – 3.03 – Presentation of the Annual Independent Auditor’s Report for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2022 The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees and the CCSD Audit Advisory Committee held a joint meeting to discuss the audit of the District’s financial statements. The independent auditing firm, Eide Bailly, issued an unmodified opinion related to the financial statements of the District. The audit found CCSD is in compliance and no corrective action is needed. Cepeda was recognized with the First Term Trustee of the Year Award by the Nevada Association of School Boards (NASB) at their annual meeting. The Clark County School District (CCSD) is working with Study.com, a leading online education platform, to provide test prep scholarships for aspiring teachers. Through Study.com’s Keys to the Classroom, CCSD will receive donated licenses to comprehensive, cost-free materials and resources to help future teachers prepare and pass their certification tests. The multi-year agreement aims to remove barriers for aspiring educators preparing to take certification tests to earn their teaching credentials.
