The Clark County School District (CCSD) will contract to provide access to multiple Wellness Centers for employees covered by the District’s health insurance plan.  The access, which is in addition to the existing insurance benefits, is available to members of the Education Support Employees Association (ESEA), Police Officers Association (POA), and the Police Administrators Association (PAA). The Wellness Centers will provide high-quality primary care medical services for our covered employees at no cost. The Clark County School District Crisis Response Team is an incredibly valuable resource for students and families. Their team consists of counselors, psychologists and social workers who provide mental health support. They are often deployed to schools to assist with individual student matters or incidents, accidents or grief that impact an entire campus. The Clark County School District (CCSD) unveiled and will soon begin operating the first electric school bus in Nevada. The bus is expected to begin transporting students in the coming weeks. “CCSD is continuously looking for ways to improve student outcomes inside and outside the classroom,” Superintendent Dr. Jesus F. Agenda Item 4.03 – Amended Final Budget  The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees unanimously approved the amended final budget that will be submitted to the State of Nevada ahead of the January 2023 deadline. The general operating budget includes total expenditures of approximately $3.1 billion and an ending fund balance of approximately $173.6 million. The approved Amended Final Budget includes a projected 4.25% unassigned ending fund balance of $120.7 million. The Clark County School District (CCSD) reported the early impacts of federal pandemic-recovery dollars during the ARP ESSER III Annual Use of Funds Report presentation to the CCSD Board of School Trustees. The Clark County School District (CCSD) is looking to National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) results to target investments as part of the Focus on the Future for Kids initiative. 2022 NAEP results reflect the tremendous impact that the pandemic had on student learning.
