In observance of Labor Day, all CCSD schools and offices will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023. All classes will resume on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

The Clark County School District is excited to provide all students with access to tutoring services through “Paper.” Students can access the tutoring service when not in the classroom by using their online Clever account. On Paper’s secure chat-based platform, tutors work individually with students to help them master concepts, improve their writing, and facilitate the completion of their coursework. Teachers and administrators can access the platform to view tutoring session transcripts, insights, and analytics that help power data-driven instruction and decision-making to improve student outcomes. For the 24th consecutive year, the Clark County School District (CCSD) Music Education Program has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM). “Music education programs at CCSD schools are a tremendous benefit to our students who learn about music and oftentimes even learn how to play their first instrument in CCSD classrooms,” said CCSD Superintendent Dr. Jesus F. Connection Line  In an effort to provide additional support to students, the Clark County School District has the Connection Line available from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on weekends. Additionally, the Connection Line will be available from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 as schools will be closed for Nevada Day. Clark County School District (CCSD) schools held events on Friday, September 9, 2022 to commemorate the victims and those who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001 attacks. Principal Murray, students, and staff at Neal Steam Academy held a 9/11 remembrance ceremony on the 21st anniversary. Cheyenne High School’s JROTC Color Guard  presented the colors (pictured). Palo Verde High School’s Air Force JROTC, choir, administrators and staff also held its annual rededication ceremony in remembrance of the victims, including the school’s foreign language teacher Barbara Edwards, with a new flag on their Barbara Edwards Memorial.
