Star Graduates 2021 – Sierra Vista

Here at Sierra Vista High School we didn’ look at the top of the honor roll, instead we focused on a graduate with an amazing journey despite barriers at nearly every step of his young life. We have chosen Dallas DeLuz as our Star Graduate. Dallas is a very bright, and hard working young man. Somehow he lost his confidence and gave up. After a few conversations with him and his parents, he decided to put all effort into his studies and credits. Once he saw the light, there was no stopping him from achieving his goal of graduating. Dallas has proven to himself and to everyone else that second chances really can happen. Although, they rarely happen by chance; it takes dedication, hard work, and a desire to have something different. Because he believed in himself and worked very hard, he will now graduate with his class of 2021.
