20 Nov Nevada Association of School Boards honors CCSD Trustee Carolyn Edwards

On Nov. 17, the Nevada Association of School Boards (NASB) presented CCSD Board of School Trustees Vice President Carolyn Edwards with the NASB Executive Director Award. The NASB said Edwards “has brought her substantial, thoughtful analysis and statewide perspective to the considerations of the (NASB) Board of Directors and Executive Committee.” The NASB also praised Edwards for her contributions to CCSD. “On her own board, she has been instrumental in refining how trustees monitor the identified goals of the superintendent and ultimately the achievement attainment of students in that district.” Click here for more information.
