 Clark County School District (CCSD) announced the Districtwide launch of Let’s Talk, a cloud-based customer service platform offered by K12 Insight. Let’s Talk provides the community with communications access to more than 20 departments across the school district and is available from CCSD’s Contact Us page. The semi-annual Green Our Planet student-run farmers market will be held Friday, April 21st at Downtown Summerlin. This year’s market will feature more than 600 students from over 60 schools in Southern Nevada. This event empowers students to be farmpreneurs and learn about farming, science, nutrition, and business through hands-on, garden-based learning. All sales will go back to the school to support their garden programs.

Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSERIII) funding is not only providing students with access to technology, curriculum and tutoring, it is also giving students the ability to engage with their peers through unique programs and opportunities. LAS VEGAS – Agenda Item 3.01 – Focus: 2024 Strategic Plan Update — Chronic Absenteeism The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees received a presentation with an update on the Focus:2024 Strategic Plan regarding chronic absenteeism. The presentation highlighted efforts to restructure the Attendance Department and deploy attendance officers to provide mentorship to students who display early indicators of chronic absenteeism.
