Clark County School District (CCSD) Unify Department and Touro University Nevada welcome the community to the “Help for All,” medical fair ahead of the 2023-2024 school year. Families will be able to receive several free on-site services and wellness resources, regardless of immigration status. These services include adult health, vision and dental screenings, children health screenings, general and COVID-19 vaccinations and mammogram testing. Families will also have access to family planning, mental health resources, substance counseling and breast health education. Green Valley High School is proud to announce its 2023 STAR Graduate, Lex de Asis. Though born with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, an orthopedic impairment resulting in their having almost no movement in their arms and legs, Lex views the obstacles of living with their disability as opportunities for persistence and ingenuity. Lex has always challenged themself to learn in spite of what their IEP says, moving beyond limitations to create new capabilities. Wyatt has attended Indian Springs Schools since he was in pre-K. He has overcome many personal obstacles and has matured into a fine young man.
