Star Grad – Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts

Yesenia has been on a remarkable journey since her Freshman year here at Del Sol Academy for the Performing Arts. Some of her accolades include; becoming the President of DSA SOL club (Student Organization of Latinos) for the last four years, going to Washington, D.C. in her junior year for UNLV’s Upward Bound program, making the DSA Varsity cheer team, maintaining her status as a High Honor student and will receive a College and Career Readiness diploma. Yesenia has been an active mariachi student since middle school and is currently one of the leaders of the Del Sol “Mariachi Fuego” Ensemble. During her last year, she will astonishingly complete 39 college credits from the Dual Enrollment UNR Collegiate Academy. We believe she will certainly fulfill her goal of becoming a successful lawyer.
