Star Grad – Centennial High School

Sean Alejandro came to Centennial High School from the Philippines for the Fall 2022 semester–the beginning of his junior year. His father had recently passed and Sean wanted a new start, so he moved in with relatives in Las Vegas.

Sean quickly established himself as a successful and personable student earning high grades and making many friends. However, by senior year, Sean was unhoused and working two jobs to make ends meet. Nonetheless, he continued to excel academically and remain highly social with his peers.

Sean is on track to earn the College & Career Ready diploma. He plans to attend SUNY-Buffalo and study Engineering. We wish him all the best!
