02 Sep Moapa Valley High School student joins School Board Student Advisory Committee

According to the Moapa Valley Progress, “For the first time in Moapa Valley High School (MVHS) history a local student has been selected to serve on the Clark County School District School Board Student Advisory Committee.” The newspaper said MVHS student Chase Kruse (pictured) was selected to represent his school on the committee. MVHS student government counselor Charlie Cooper said, “It’s quite an opportunity for us. We get to express views about the valley out here.” Kruse is one of 36 students from throughout the district recently appointed by Trustees to the committee, which will hold its first meeting of the new school year on Oct. 6.
