Families invited to CCSD Magnet workshops
Clark County School District (CCSD) is accepting applications for students interested in attending one of the District’s award-winning Magnet Schools. Applications must be submitted by January 9, 2024.
Parents and families may attend several workshops from now until January 4, 2024, to learn more about the District’s programs. Each parent workshop will provide an overview of CCSD Magnet Schools, Magnet program types, details on the application process, information on transportation availability and student expectations.
CCSD has more than 40 Magnet Schools available for students in grades K-12, with programs ranging from Medical Sciences, STEM, Aviation Technology, Construction Management, Culinary and more. Several schools will be hosting open houses and tours for students and families interested in their programs until January 2024. November 28 – Windmill Library, 7060 W. Windmill Ln., at 5:30 p.m.
December 5 – Paradise Recreation Center (Spanish), 4775 S. McLeod, at 5:30 p.m.
December 7 – Centennial Hills Library, 6711 N. Buffalo Dr., at 5:30 p.m.
January 4 – Virtual meeting at 5:30 p.m.
