Clark High School’s Troy Warren Harris and West Career & Technical Academy’s Amy Park were recognized for their accomplishments in academics, the arts, and career and technical education fields. Let’s Talk provides the community with communications access to more than 20 departments across the school district and is available from CCSD’s Contact Us page. The semi-annual Green Our Planet student-run farmers market will be held Friday, April 21st at Downtown Summerlin. This year’s market will feature more than 600 students from over 60 schools in Southern Nevada. This event empowers students to be farmpreneurs and learn about farming, science, nutrition, and business through hands-on, garden-based learning. All sales will go back to the school to support their garden programs.

LAS VEGAS – Agenda Item 3.01 – Focus: 2024 Strategic Plan Update — Chronic Absenteeism The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees received a presentation with an update on the Focus:2024 Strategic Plan regarding chronic absenteeism. The presentation highlighted efforts to restructure the Attendance Department and deploy attendance officers to provide mentorship to students who display early indicators of chronic absenteeism.
