2023 Summer learning opportunities for CCSD students

The Clark County School District (CCSD) is offering free-of-charge summer learning opportunities to accelerate the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development of all CCSD students.

All schools will once again provide Summer Acceleration for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 from May 30-June 16, 2023.

Select schools will provide Extended School Year services from June 22-July 18, 2023.

Secondary Summer School will be offered for students in Grades 6-12 during two sessions:

  • May 30-June 16, 2023
  • June 20-July 10, 2023

Parents should contact their child’s school regarding the 2023 summer learning opportunities at their school.

Summer school opportunities are funded through ESSER funds allowing students to take part in summer learning opportunities free of charge.

All schools will provide Summer Acceleration five days a week for a six-hour instructional student day to support students’ learning and social-emotional well-being.

Schools will offer face-to-face instructional opportunities to accelerate students’ learning, provide interventions and services for social-emotional support, facilitate study centers, and offer extracurricular activities for students.
