CCSD Superintendent Jhone Ebert and her leadership team are working to implement a 100-Day Plan that you can read here.
Why it matters: During the first 100 days, a new leader has the opportunity to establish clear expectations and chart a course for future success.
The Superintendent’s 100-Day Plan contains more than 25 recommendations centered around four pillars:
- Reignite the passion for public education in CCSD and the entire community.
- Strengthen communication by providing consistent, proactive communication and customer service.
- Rebuild trust with clear expectations and open dialogue.
- Enhance partnerships that spark innovation in our schools.
Context: The 100-Day Plan outlines ways to maintain a strong academic focus in areas where CCSD has seen progress:
- Expanding Pre-Kindergarten options
- Focusing on early literacy supports
- Improving middle school math instruction
- Increasing college and workforce opportunities
It also reaffirms CCSD’s commitment to:
- High-quality Tier 1 instruction
- The Science of Reading
- The Teaching and Learning Cycle
What’s next: Upon completing and reporting on the progress made during this initial phase of the 100-Day Plan, Superintendent Ebert will begin holding listening sessions to co-design a strategic plan with our community.
