18 Apr Virgin Valley High School starts Hall of Fame to honor its athletic tradition

Virgin Valley High School is establishing the VVHS Hall of Fame to honor the school’s rich athletic tradition, which dates back to the early 20th century. According to the Mesquite Local News, ”Virgin Valley basketball claimed its first Nevada State Championship in 1915 and many more have come in all sports since then.” The newspaper said, “The purpose of the VVHS Hall of Fame is to honor and recognize outstanding individuals who have had a significant and lasting impact on the lives of the youth of Virgin Valley through their involvement in high school athletic programs as a coach, athlete or contributor.” Click here to submit a nomination.
