Congratulations to Sheila Tarr Academy of International Studies for earning the Purple Star School designation from the Nevada Department of Education (NDE). The school was selected due to its commitment to supporting military-connected children.

Tarr Academy joins 25 other schools across the state in receiving this recognition since 2021.

The school received a certificate and banner to highlight the support it provides for military students who may be adjusting to a new school or who are without a parent during deployment.
