Dalia Rosas-Perez is an amazing student who has risen to the challenges of being a low-income First Generation High School Graduate and a member of the LGBTQ+ community to graduate first in her class. As a leader in the Video Production Program at Desert Pines Magnet Academy, Dalia loves the challenge, creativity, and growth that CTE, AP, and Honors level classes offer her. While at Desert Pines High School, Dalia has a 4.8 GPA, has taken 11 AP classes, and is recognized as an AP Scholar by College Board. She will also graduate with the Seal of Biliteracy and CTE Certification. She has served as President of the Desert Pines National Honors Society Chapter, President of SkillsUSA, Producer of our weekly Jaguar News Network student news program, and was part of the Cross Country and Track and Field Teams. Dalia is a QuestBridge Scholar and won a full-ride scholarship to Oberlin College in Ohio where she will be studying Environmental Sciences and Engineering. Dalia is an inspiring, motivated, and hard-working student who will continue to make her mark in the world.
