Tam is an exemplary model student from Global. Arriving in the USA 2 years ago, Tam entered high school in quarantine distance education. Although unfamiliar with the traditions of US high schools, Tam quickly adapted to the expectations of learning via Google Meet and showcased his English language acquisition skills with proficiency. Now a future student at UNLV, Tam will graduate as 5th in the class and has been recognized each quarter as Student of the Quarter, Straight As, and Perfect Attendance. Accepted at UNLV as a biochem major, Tam embodies the spirit of newcomer students.
