Star Grad – Sunrise Mountain High School

Sunrise Mountain High School is proud to present Litzy Garcia Bermudez as its 2024 Star Graduate. She currently holds a 4.4 GPA in her regular, honors, dual enrollment, and AP classes. She played varsity tennis the last two years, and is an active member of the Garden Club and Art Club. Litzy is family-oriented and loves assisting in the care of two younger siblings. She loves it so much, it piqued her interest in elementary education. Litzy plans on attending the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) this fall to major in elementary education. The Rogers Foundation is to thank for her scholarship to attend UNR as every student in her 3rd grade class at Reynaldo L. Martinez Elementary School was awarded in-state tuition and books upon high school graduation.
