Southwest Career and Technical Academy is proud to honor Emma Kodjanian as our 2025 STAR Graduate. Emma has consistently demonstrated her commitment to academic excellence, maintaining a 4.0 unweighted and 4.95 weighted grade point average (GPA) and amazingly earning 49 Nevada State University Dual Enrollment credits.

Emma serves Southwest CTA as the Vice President of the National Honor Society, a member of Student Council holding offices such as Junior Class Treasurer and Student Body Community Outreach Officer, is a member of Key Club, Speech and Debate, and We the People. In her spare time, Emma volunteers at Carolyn S. Reedom Elementary School and serves as a member of her church youth organization.

As a role model for her peers, Emma embodies the qualities of a well-rounded and dedicated student. Her positive attitude, resilience, and unwavering determination are truly inspiring. Emma plans to attend University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and major in Philosophy with a concentration in Law and Justice.
