Talah Thomas exemplifies Silverado High School’s mission, Excellence in Action, and has been named Silverado High School’s 2025 Star Graduate! Talah has been steadfast in her commitment and dedication not only to her academic excellence, but also as a member of the Silverado school community. Talah’s academic achievements place her at the top of her class as a valedictorian candidate, and her dedication to the Silverado community surpasses expectations. Talah has been a leader amongst her peers and in her community both as a role model and active participant in volunteering and leadership roles.
Talah has been an integral member of the Silverado High School Orchestra for the past four years and has taken on leadership roles. She has participated in track and field over the past four years, participated in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Interactions with science, mathematics, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and as a member of Key Club. Talah describes being a member of Mu Alpha Theta as the most rewarding extracurricular activity because she values sharing her knowledge and helping her peers understand math. She finds it rewarding to help others build their confidence in math. Talah is a natural leader and critical thinker who displays excellence in scholarship and character. At Silverado High School, our Skyhawks strive to be prime examples of honorable, accountable, well-rounded, knowledgeable, and successful students, and we are honored to have Talah Thomas as our STAR graduate. We are proud of her accomplishments and look forward to watching her SOAR in all of her future endeavors!
