Esther Biabene embodies what it means to be a Star Graduate. Esther has worked diligently to only have Dual Enrollment courses this school year. Not only is Esther punctual with all of her assignments, but she also craves perfection. Esther always strives to learn how to express herself more clearly and concisely, and endeavors to take her writing to the next level by experimenting with vocabulary, syntax, and overall sentence complexity. In addition, Esther takes her education and her college pursuits the most seriously. To illustrate, the college-level topic she is currently researching quite earnestly is “Social Media and Mental Health.” Additionally, Esther values her own intellectual advancement and academic improvement and knows the power of education–in fact, she often (without prompting) writes inspirational messages on her English 102 classroom’s whiteboard for herself and others to read, things like “Education can save the world,” or “Your power is without limit when you educate yourself.” These messages have become a constant reminder of Esther’s passionate and compassionate approach to school life! She is admired for her work ethic, her determination, and her positive and proactive attitude. Esther plans to attend college at Texas Southern University in the fall.

Congratulations to Star Graduate Esther Biabene of Morris Sunset East High School.
