Daniel Murillo is a remarkable young man—delightful, respectful, patient, insightful, and consistently self-advocating. He brings an enthusiastic and positive energy when discussing his goals and aspirations, demonstrating a level of depth and thoughtfulness well beyond that of the average senior. His plans reflect a strong desire to pursue a career in human services, specifically in law enforcement or the Army National Guard, with the goal of helping his community, serving his country, making his family proud, and finding personal fulfillment.

Despite facing significant challenges throughout his life, Daniel has remained resilient, focused, and determined. His journey has required strength, maturity, and perseverance—qualities he exemplifies daily. He has quietly overcome difficult personal circumstances while continuing to excel in both academics and character.

Daniel’s academic achievements are truly outstanding. He holds a 4.733 cumulative weighted GPA, ranks 13th out of 614 seniors, and will graduate with an Advanced Honors Diploma. He has earned certifications in Web Design, passed both Career and Technical Education (CTE) exams, and scored an impressive 94 on the Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).

Outside the classroom, Daniel has also excelled in athletics, earning top scorer honors in club soccer, winning regional and state competitions, and being selected for the Nevada All-Star team after four years of varsity play.
