Randall Thomas Arias, a senior at Foothill High School, embodies a rich tapestry of experiences and aspirations that set him apart. Born in Panama City, Panama, his multicultural heritage, with roots in the indigenous “Kuna” tribe and the United States, shapes his unique perspective. Spending 11 transformative years in Panama, Randall’s return to the U.S. for his senior year signifies a pivotal chapter in his academic journey.

At Foothill, Randall has showcased not just his commitment to excellence but also his exceptional mathematical abilities. Fluent in English and Spanish, and proficient in Portuguese after four years of study, Randall’s linguistic dexterity reflects his dedication to embracing diverse cultures. Beyond the classroom, his character is defined by humor, focus, curiosity, selflessness, and confidence. Having earned a prestigious scholarship in Panama, the IFARHU, for maintaining an outstanding GPA, Randall’s determination and intelligence converge, making him Foothill’s Star Grad.
