Star Grad – College of So. NV HS East

Esmirna Anguiano-Mendez is the antithesis of mediocre. She sets a high standard for herself and tackles every aspect of her life with amazing clarity, precision and creativity. No matter the obstacle, no matter the challenge, no matter the difficulty, Esmirna will find a path to success even if she has to create one herself. These are just some of the qualities that make Esmirna the sort of person who leaves a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to work with her. In these last two years, we have watched this amazing young woman crush her fears and struggle through perceived limitations to become the courageous and discerning young woman she is today.

Esmirna will be graduating from The College of Southern Nevada High School not only with the highest degree that Clark County School District offers, but also with her Associates of Science from The College of Southern Nevada. From here, she will attend Michigan University to finish her degree in biomedical engineering with plans to build the future.
