Kimberly Ordonez is an incredible young woman who stands out from her peers for her maturity and determination. Despite significant challenges during the last two years, Kimberly has maintained a positive outlook and remained steadfast in her goals. As part of the Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative, a partnership with Nevada Gold Mines and College of Southern Nevada (CSN), Kimberly enrolled in numerous dual enrollment courses, both at Central Technical Training Academy and at CSN. When Kimberly graduates this May, she’ll be graduating not only with a high school diploma but also with a Certificate of Achievement in Advanced Manufacturing from CSN. Kimberly has completely immersed herself in opportunities at Central Tech, attending industry tours and guest speaker events, participating in career readiness workshops, and representing Central Tech as a Student Ambassador. Kimberly takes advantage of every experience to grow her knowledge and skills, she advocates for herself and those she cares for, and she is confident in asking for help when needed. Her ability to balance her many responsibilities as a high school student, college student, and oldest sibling, all the while maintaining a great attitude, is commendable. Central Tech is proud of her and all that she’s accomplished.

Congratulations to Star Graduate Kimberly Ordonez of Central Technical Training Academy.
