Star Grad – Bonanza High School

Jay Rosales, the Star Graduate from Bonanza High School, has been a model for perseverance throughout her academic career. She came to Las Vegas in 7th grade to live with her grandmother in search of better academic options. Despite significant adversity in her younger years, she insisted that getting an education was the most important thing to her. With a passion for athletics, Jay came to Bonanza High School and got involved in basketball, the step team, flag football, track, student council, and she was the team manager for the football team. Jay will be graduating from high school with a 3.53 grade point average and has earned a leadership scholarship to Ottawa University in Phoenix, Arizona, where she plans to study Sports Management. Bonanza High School is very proud of Jay!
