No school for students today, but educators are still in the classroom for professional development.
Approximately 700 CCSD counselors from across the district met at the South Point Hotel to discuss ideas and collaborate as they work to support our students.
Additionally, Physical Education teachers across the District met at Rancho High School to develop lessons on hockey, lacrosse and functional fitness. The educators were joined by players and representatives from the Las Vegas Desert Dogs and the Vegas Golden Knights who offered tips on teaching the games to younger players.
