It’s often reported in the media that Nevada’s education system ranks poorly, but there is growing evidence that the Clark County School District is making strides in improving student achievement.
As explained by Trustee Carolyn Edwards, newly released information indicates that CCSD is performing about equal to, or in some cases, slightly better than other large, urban districts that serve similar student populations and receive more per-pupil funding.
