
05 Oct School police make arrest in relation to unsubstantiated threats
UPDATE: Clark County School District Police Chief Jim Ketsaa and Captain Ken Young provide details about the arrest of an 18 year old student who posted threats on social media. The student was arrested on charges of: Making threats of terrorism and communicating bomb threats.
UPDATE: Clark County School District Police Department and local law enforcement investigated the threat circulating on social media on Oct. 4, and they have a person in custody who was arrested overnight.
Thank you to law enforcement who work hard every day to ensure our schools are safe. School was in session on Oct. 5.
A reminder: All threats made against schools will be turned over to law enforcement for investigation, and making threats against a school is a serious crime.
