Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Showcases New and Improved Mountain View Elementary School

CCSD celebrated the opening of the brand-new Mountain View Elementary School campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. CCSD Board of School Trustees members Brenda Zamora, Lisa Satory and Interim Superintendent Brenda Larsen-Mitchell were in attendance to celebrate alongside students, staff, as well as the school principal.

Originally built in 1954, the new campus is the first of CCSD’s new elementary school prototype.

The first-of-its-kind design features flexible learning spaces of multiple sizes and shapes, organized by a geometric theme. Students will gain an improved understanding of shape, color, texture, and measurement.
