Palo Verde High School honors victims of 9/11

Palo Verde High School Principal Amy Herring Smith, students and staff placed a new flag on the Barbara Edwards Memorial. The school’s color guard, drill teams and choir participated in an outstanding ceremony. The annual rededication ceremony is held in remembrance of the victims, including the school’s foreign language teacher Barbara Edwards. Edwards was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11.
