Northwest CTA students get lessons in dining etiquette

Engineering, hospitality, media and construction students at Northwest Career and Technical Academy had the opportunity on Feb. 7 and 8 to learn about culinary etiquette, which includes the way a person talks, eats and behaves while dining with others. These “soft skills” are often overlooked, but can play a significant role in a person’s long-term success. The workshops were led by Dress for Success Southern Nevada Executive Director Paula Lawrence and included participation by local business representatives.
