Each May, Better Hearing and Speech Month provides an opportunity to raise awareness about communication disorders and the role of members of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in providing life-altering treatment. This year, ASHA’s theme is “Connecting People.” Clark County School District (CCSD) staff members are encouraged to honor and acknowledge the contributions of audiologists and speech-language pathologists (SLPs) in student hearing, communication, and learning throughout CCSD.
