Students from Lake Elementary School won this year’s pumpkin drawing contest sponsored by Walker Furniture. At a pumpkin carving event Oct. 30, professional chef Chanh Boupha carved the drawing of first place winner Karla Cervante. Student Javier Monroy came in second, followed by Nathan Williams in third place. Pictured, from left to right, are Chanh Boupha, art teacher Tammie Gallimore and Karla Cervante.
