For high school seniors who want to pursue higher education, they should check in with their guidance counselors to learn about scholarship opportunities (if they haven’t already done so).
Scholarship applications are now being accepted by many local organizations, including The Public Education Foundation, The Rogers Foundation and other nonprofits in Nevada.
Students also will want to check with community, civic, faith-based, trade and professional organizations to see if they are offering scholarship opportunities for which they are eligible.
