30 Nov Hyde Park Academy honored as a finalist for Khan Academy competition
Hyde Park Academy of Science and Mathematics has been named a finalist for the Khan Academy LearnStorm competition. The school is one of just 30 LearnStorm Grand Prize finalists nationwide. Assistant Principal Adam Taylor said, “Hundreds of schools across the country applied, but our school’s engagement, use of growth mindset resources, and perseverance were exceptional.” As a finalist, the school received a cash prize and national recognition. Representatives from AT&T, LearnStorm and others took part in a recognition ceremony at the school on Nov. 27.
