14 Dec Hummel Elementary School students help grant wishes

John R. Hummel Elementary School students recently raised over $2,000 to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation grant wishes!

Students wrote letters for the Make-A-Wish Foundation as part of Macy’s Believe Day. For every letter written, Macy’s donated $2 to the foundation.

Last year, Hummel participated for the first time and wrote 800 letters.  This year, the school was able to write 1,084 letters for the foundation earning them over $2000 to help grant wishes.
