Let’s Talk — the online customer service platform — has had 1,000 inquiries since Clark County School District launched it just five months ago.
Why it matters: The Let’s Talk service is available 24/7, from any computer, tablet, or smartphone, and includes technology to provide transparent, timely, and accurate responses.
? The big picture: Parents/guardians, students, and community members may not always know where to begin to get answers to their questions from the Clark County School District — and Let’s Talk puts customers at ease.
- What they’re saying: “Let’s Talk was implemented to simplify communication and make it easier for our employees, families, and community members to ask questions, request information, or share concerns,” says Pogos Kazanchyan, director of CCSD’s Team Engagement Department.
? When you enter the Let’s Talk website, you’ll find a user-friendly menu that provides a range of topics. You can search by subject area and often find answers to your questions immediately.
- For instance, if you have a question about CCSD student meals, scroll down to the Food Service Department, and you will find a Menus and Special Diets tab. Once you click on it, you’ll a link that can tell you what the menu is for each of CCSD’s 370-plus schools.
- If the question about student meals requires a more in-depth answer, a District representative will ensure that the right person within CCSD contacts the parent/guardian.
- You can also type in a comment, suggestion, concern, or compliment, letting the Team Engagement Department know what’s on your mind.
