There are five days left for families to apply for open seats for the 2026-2027 school year in the Clark County School District’s (CCSD) school choice options, including Open Enrollment, Magnet programs, and the Central Technical Training Academy. The application deadline is Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
These programs are part of CCSD’s efforts to provide more school choice options outside their zoned CCSD school, allowing families and students to find their best fit:
- Open Enrollment (formerly Change of School Assignment) – A process that gives families the opportunity to apply for their child to attend a school outside their assigned attendance zone, offering families greater flexibility to find the right fit for their child’s learning needs.
- Available seats are determined based on each school’s capacity.

- Schools not on the lists do not have seats available.
- Transportation will not be provided for students who attend school as a result of Open Enrollment in the 2026-2027 school year.

- Magnet Programs – These schools provide specialized programs that challenge students to think creatively and solve problems analytically through innovative themes and unique teaching methods ranging from International Baccalaureate to performing and creative arts to STEM to leadership.
- Transportation is provided for students living within designated zones for each magnet program.

- Central Technical Training Academy – Focuses on career pathway training through CTE coursework, credentialing, and work-based learning opportunities.
- Accepting applications from incoming 11th and 12th grade students.
