Families invited to Super Saturday event, Apr. 20

Clark County School District (CCSD) families are invited to attend a day of hands-on learning activities and community resources at Super Saturday, April 20. The event will be held at Lorenzi Park, 3333 W. Washington Ave., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Super Saturday participants will have a chance to join in on interactive activities, games, face painting, prizes and a chance to meet characters in the community including “McGruff the Crime Dog” and “Alma” from the PBS KIDS show “Alma’s Way.” Families are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a “Book-nic” after receiving a free book from the CCSD Book Bus.

The event is free for all Title I students and families.
