The American Education Week celebrations continue with National Parental Involvement Day!
Today, our Deputy Superintendents, Dr. Jesse Welsh and Felicia Gonzalez, visited two CCSD Family Engagement Centers to learn more about how these centers help our parents increase involvement in their children’s education. They talked to parents and heard firsthand how these centers have helped them.
Located across the District, the centers provide families with the tools and resources necessary to engage with their child’s education. These programs range from early childhood classes to technology support and parental workshops. The Family Engagement Centers are free and open to the community, offering services in both English and Spanish.
