CCSD will celebrate National School Counseling Week, Feb. 4-8, 2019. The special week aims to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems.
Pictured is Julia Bush, a school counselor at Lyal Burkholder Middle School, who was selected as the 2019 Nevada School Counselor of the Year.
“Mrs. Bush has been more than the ideal school counselor, but also a school leader,” said Burkholder MS Assistant Principal Melissa Mendoza.
