CCSD Teacher Named 2024 Nevada Early Educator of the Year

A Clark County School District (CCSD) teacher has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 Nevada Early Educators of the Year award by the Nevada Department of Education. 

Leigh Todd, a preschool teacher at Myrtle Tate Elementary School was presented with the award during a ceremony at the school in September. Todd has worked at Tate Elementary School for seven years. 

The program, now in its fourth year, recognizes the contributions of early educators who work with children from birth through age five. Winners receive a $500 reward, a framed certificate, and a Lakeshore gift certificate.
