CCSD students to organize film festival featuring student-made projects

Event feature 20 student-made films

LAS VEGAS – Video production students from Clark County School District (CCSD) high schools will debut their film projects in front of friends and family as part of the Foothill Film Festival.

The event being held at the Foothill High School Theatre will feature more than 20 projects from six CCSD schools. The festival starts at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023. The event is open to the public with tickets priced at $3.

Awards will be presented to students in four categories including the Best Film Award.

Filmmakers from Coronado High School, Palo Verde High School, Shadow Ridge High School, Clark High School and Foothill High School have submitted projects.

Each project will be judged by a panel of producers, writers, directors, film teachers and CTE Video Production program alumni.

The Film Festival was previously hosted at Shadow Ridge High Schooland Desert Oasis High School.
