Hundreds of Clark County School District (CCSD) students participated in a special “We the People” boot camp that is being sponsored by the State Bar of Nevada in preparation for the upcoming “We the People” state competition that will take place in December. “We the People” is a program that engages students in a curriculum designed to foster an understanding of American democracy, including the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The boot camp included a variety of elected and public officials who shared their knowledge with students and their coaches.
