Over the weekend, 1,300 Clark County School District students from 16 schools participated in the USA Sevens Adopt-a-Country program.
The program pairs the 16 teams and nations represented in the HSBC Sevens World Series tournament’s Las Vegas stop with a local school. The culmination of Adopt-a-Country comes when the students from the schools board a bus to attend matches at Sam Boyd Stadium to cheer for their team and watch world-class sevens rugby.
Part of the HSBC Sevens World Series, the USA Sevens tournament is an annual elite-level rugby competition series between nations, whose top professional rugby players compete against each other throughout the year for the World Series Title.
