Employees from Clark County School District’s (CCSD) Health Services and Risk Management departments were honored as the Southern Nevada Health District’s (SNHD) 2024 Public Health Heroes for playing a vital role in creating a healthier community.
Four CCSD employees were recognized during the Board of Public Health meeting on April 25:
- Jennifer Budzinski, Employee Occupational Health Strategy Director of Health Services
- Sheri McPartlin, Health Services Director and Chief Nurse
- Kimberly Krumland, Director of Risk Management Department
- Stephen Johnston, Safety Coordinator for Risk Management Department
Budzinski and McPartlin were recognized for their efforts in assisting SNHD in addressing health exposures in 2023, providing staff, facilities, and support to navigate, plan, and execute large-scale testing.
Krumland and Johnston were recognized for ensuring more than 370 schools consistently meet or exceed the health and safety requirements to allow students to safely attend school.
SNHD identified Public Health Heroes as individuals or organizations whose efforts positively affect the health and well-being of the Southern Nevada Community.
